I'm posting a sort of freestyle poem I wrote some time ago(more of a message broken into short lines, hope you like it!)....

NO GOOD FROM EVIL

Your son was said to have been stealing,

You disagreed,

Yet you went into your brother's store,

Just the week before,

And took some of his food items...

And with no iota of a stinging conscience,

You boldly declare;

'My brother's property is mine'...

So do you mean to assert,

That your stealing son,

Was blind to that act,

And didn't learn from you?

.

Young woman,

Your daughter went into prostitution...

You don't believe it,

But where exactly were you last night?

Was it not in that strange man's room?

Oh, come on,

Mangoes aren't found on a guava tree, are they?

.

Any fault found with your offspring,

You denounce vehemently;

But was it not that same crime,

That exact atrocity,

Or a variant of it,

You committed some time ago?

.

SIDE BOX

This Valentine, let's all uphold the virtues of purity.

St. Valentine did not die for sexual immorality,

He died for the true purpose of marriage and not any other thing...

It would be ridiculous to celebrate him by doing what he did not support!
