WHEN YOU HATE THE ONE GOD LOVES

When you hate the one God loves

 I saw someone post; ‘If God loves the person you hate, you’re in trouble!’ The first thought that crossed my mind when I came across this, was that, God said in His word that He loves everyone, in essence; every human on earth. That declaration is scattered all over the scriptures, the most notable being John 3:16.

God loves everybody, that therefore implies that if you hate anyone, you’re in trouble!

 And come to think of it, Jesus told us to love both our enemies and our friends because even unbelievers love their friends and hate their foes and we must be distinct! {Matthew 5:43-47}

 Another approach to the statement which I suppose is what the writer meant is that, If God is on your enemy’s side, you’re roasted meat, which is absolutely true, because you can’t oppose God’s beloved and expect to make a headway, it’s impossible my friend…

 Hours after I saw all these, I remembered Matthew 17:5;

“But even as he spoke, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy. Listen to him””[NLT]

So if you are at enmity with Jesus, you know what that means. If you’re not with Him, you’re against Him…

Don’t choose destruction, my brother, come to Jesus today and He sure won’t reject you.

 In general, guys, to be on the safe side, be at peace with everyone to ensure you aren’t going against God.

 That’s the moral of the story!
