 GENDER DISCRIMINATION

There is a place,

Where everyone, all people,

Are humans –except a group;

These people are seen,

as inferior and the other group,

as the opposite;

The ‘superior’ group members,

all share the belief,

all share the assertion,

that the ‘inferiors’ are ‘Lilliputians’,

physically and emotionally substandard;

When in fact, all are equal,

According to the Creator’s design,

The unfairly treated,

Are only a bit delicate;

Not even all of the so called

‘superiors’ are strong-minded;

Despicability isn’t the attribute,

Of a gender;

It’s rather the mark of

a feeble individual,

who’s chosen it;

Irrespective of gender,

All should be fairly treated,

In education, finance and politics,

both genders are eligible;

One thing’s for sure,

Discrimination cannot result in

A better society…
