GOD, ARE YOU EVEN CAPABLE?
"GOD, SIT IN YOUR PLACE; YOU’RE NOT CAPABLE" In what ways do we say this to God? Read on! ‘Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?’ 2 Kings 7:2a [KJV] I don’t know how you’re feeling, reading this. But I know that you probably are thinking on this man’s level of unbelief-Let’s make it clearer with another version; “The officer assisting the king said to the man of God, ‘That couldn’t happen even if the LORD opened the windows of heaven!’” 2 Kings 7:2a [NLT] That’s like saying, “Elisha, even the ‘baba nla’ you believe in can’t do this! Even if the skies were to rain flour and grain from God, this is impossible!” What insolence! I really feel bad for this man and the end he had, and you probably do too.
